The Church, His Body

I am a housewife and a mother who has two daughters going to a university and a son going to high school. Twenty years ago, I had a wonderful experience. I was regenerated by the Lord's life through the Lord's grace and mercy (John 3:6,16). At that time the pleasure and the rest I felt can be compared with nothing. But as times went on, I had a lot of questions. Why did the Lord save me? Is only forgiveness of sins the purpose of God for human beings? Couldn't the Church which is the Body of Christ, mentioned in the Bible exist on this earth today? Watching my self making a friend with the world and not having much growth of the Lord's life in me, I experienced many troubles and wanderings.

Meanwhile from a faithful friend meeting with the local church I got The Economy of God and The Orthodoxy of the Church by brother Witness Lee. When I read it, I sensed a desire for the Lord and pleasure in Him. This made me happy again.

After a few days, I met a brother in the Lord from the local church. In the fellowship with him, I realized what the plan and purpose of God for human beings is and what the church is ? the Body of Christ (Ephesians 1:21-22). Then every problem of wandering was solved. Not only did the Lord forgive my sins, but also He cares for me and leads me continually in order that I may grow in His life as His son so that I can become part of His bride (John 3:29; Revelation 19:7; 21:2,9-10). He desires me to become an overcomer (Revelation 2:7, 11, 17, 26; 3:5, 12, 21).

Now I am really happy in the Lord. My family, my husband and my three children, all have started to meet with the local church. Thank the Lord and praise Him. Amen.
